Luaggieweek day 02: with pets

How many MCU characters are you familiar with? What type of MCU characters would Luan and Maggie have much in common with in personality traits?

Hi there, nice to hear from you! I haven’t seen you around in a while!

As for the first part...I’m kind of obsessed with all of the female movie characters, major and minor. And I ship them all with each other lol. As for characters from the TV shows, I’m not too caught up with most of them. I don’t know anyone from Agents of SHIELD, but I do like the Daredevil/Jessica Jones/Luke Cage ladies.

But for the latter part of the message about the Loud House characters...I actually don’t watch that show, so I wouldn’t be a very good authority. But I’ll tag it here to see if anyone else would have some insight!

(I have liked posts about them before, but that is only to save them for later so I can post them on the blog I mod, @femslashrevolution.)

Let’s Talk #TheLoudHouse: Season 3 Final Thoughts

The third season of The Loud House was an overall great season.

For my final thoughts on the third season, feel free to keep reading. There will be spoilers.

I have previously stated my thoughts on most of the season, so this post will mainly focus on the fifteen episodes that aired from January to March. Additionally, I will present an updated version of what I consider the season’s best and worst episodes.

The third season continued to expand the show by having several episodes where Lincoln either was a supporting character, only showed up briefly, or did not make an appearance outside of the title card. It was much more free to present stories without shoehorning him into the situation.

It also appeared to jokingly poke fun at Lincoln’s role as the protagonist. The episode “Sitting Bull”, where Lynn Jr. joins her sisters’ babysitting business, has her prevent Lincoln from getting involved. “Predict Ability” pokes fun at the idea he is a bland character by his family and friends pointing out how he wears the same attire every day and his habits.

Several characters introduced in the second season returned in bigger roles. The Casagrandes made several appearances throughout the season, such as in the Thanksgiving special. One episode, "The Spies Who Loved Me”, focused exclusively on them with Lincoln only appearing over the phone.

A couple of characters from “L Is For Love” also returned later in the season. Luna’s crush Sam had a few silent cameos before she played a major role in “Racing Hearts”. Luan’s crush Benny also returned in "Stage Plight”.

This season had four half-hour episodes, twice the amount of the second season. Two of the episodes were the season’s first and last to be produced, “Tripped!” and “Cooked!”, although they aired out of order. “The Loudest Thanksgiving” served as the season’s lone holiday special. “Really Loud Music” was the show’s first musical episode appropriately centering around Luna.

The season also featured several celebrity guest appearances: Bill Mumy (Lost in Space/Liliana Mumy’s father), Jennifer Coolidge (American Pie), Jane Lynch (Glee), Yvette Nicole Brown (Community), Alyson Stoner (Phineas and Ferb), and Sean Giambrone (The Goldbergs/Kim Possible).

The season had a lot of good and bad episodes.

The Best

Rita Her Rights: A rare episode of a show aimed at a young audience that features a mother avoiding her family.

Tripped!: The standard road trip story but with a Loud House twist.

The Spies Who Loved Me: Basically a test pilot for The Casagrandes. 

Home of the Fave: A good Lynn Sr. story centering around the concept of playing favorites.

Racing Hearts: The follow-up worth the wait, it officially confirmed Luna and Sam’s relationship with a fun episode showing how the two surprisingly have very little in common.

The Worst

White Hare:  The final episode written by disgraced series creator Chris Savino, it wasted the opportunity to present an outlandish story with the original concept.

What Wood Lincoln Do?:  While there are a few funny moments with Walt, no explanation is given for Lincoln’s inability to build stuff. If it was meant to reveal that he has panic attacks, as some fans have theorized, then it should not have been played for laughs.

House of Lies: Someone’s bad fan fiction was adapted into an episode only without the forced angst.

The Write Stuff: A boring episode about Rita taking over a writing class.

Cooked!: The weakest of the four half-hour episodes, with a story that could have easily been cut down to a quarter-hour.

It will be a while until the fourth season airs. Considering how the season’s first five episodes will serve as the lead-up to The Casagrandes, which premieres later this year, it is highly likely Nickelodeon will air a later episode from the season before those episodes sometime this Spring.

In the meantime, the sixth graphic novel Loud and Proud and a DVD of the first half of the second season are both coming in May.

Something worth noting about the show is that Nickelodeon has recently begun airing a Spanish dub via the Secondary Audio Program available on most cable/satellite providers. It is the version broadcast on Nickelodeon’s Latin American networks and available on DVD as well as on the Nick app. At the time of writing, most of the show can be seen in Spanish via SAP.

The Loud House airs on a daily basis on Nickelodeon. Check your local listings.

A muted love

here is a luan x Maggie fanfic, it nothing to big just a little love story.

Maggie was in the loud's backyard, sitting on a fold up chair, in front of her was red curtains "Why do I have to help with this, couldn't you get your brother instead" Maggie said as she couldn't believe, Luan was somehow able to convince her to sit though her comedy routine for a up coming gig.

"Unfortunately no, he went to the comic book story, cause they had a new issue of his favorite comic, besides if I can make you smile then I will be ready for anything" Luan had explain from the other side of the curtains "now let's get you laughing!" She said and walked out in a classic clown outfit with face paint, Maggie had immediately hated it already but didn't say anything.

Luan had started her routine like normal "are y'all excited today!" She said as she looked at Maggie who didn't say anything.

"Wow, tough crowd but no problem, by the end of this you will be up in... TEARS" she said before she opened her hands, showing she had painting tear drops on her hand, Maggie had looked unfazed.

Luan had continued, going to her jokes "I don't trust stairs, because they are always UP to something" she said laughing, Maggie had held her mean expression.

"What do you call a blind deer?" She said looking at Maggie who was looking at her but didn't say anything

"I have no ideer" Luan said laughing again, looking at Maggie who lips didn't even twitch at the joke.

Luan gulped quietly as she moved to her magic tricks, than moved to her ventriloquist dummy Mr. Coconuts, and then to her juggling act. The whole time Maggie didn't seem faze in the slightly.

Luan had clear her throat and went back the curtains to change.

"Are we done yet" Maggie said as she looked at the curtains.

"Almost... there is just one more act" luan said as she took a deep breath, putting her plan into action.

Luan had stepped out as this time she was dress in the outfit she had wore to save Maggie birthday, that Lincoln had almost messed up by accident because he had let the fame get to him, she also had on some black and white make up on, which had caught Maggie attention.

Luan had clear her throat but didn't say anything as she had started her final act... the true reason why she had brought Maggie here in the first place.

Luan had started to acting like she was trapped inside a box, pressing her ear against a invisible wall, then started to turn a lock.

Maggie had watched interested as she could understand what luan was going for, she had watched and luan had gotten out of the box and walked to her, holding out her hand to her, and this had confused her but she had took her hand.

Luan had pulled Maggie up, blushing behind her make up as she had pulled Maggie away from the chair, she had pulled out a small red candy heart with the with the word's "I love you" written on it, holding it out to her, smiling at her.

It was true, luan was in love with Maggie, she didn't know what had drawn her to Maggie but no matter how hard she tried to fight the feeling, she was in love with her, and she wasn't ashamed of it.

Maggie had looked at the candy then she had looked at Luan and she had turned and walked away, leaving the backyard.

Luan had watched Maggie left without a word, causing her lip to tumble, dropping to the ground, and started to cry silently

Luan didn't know how long she was crying for but jumped as she heard someone clear their throat, she looked up and her eyes widened.

Maggie stood in front of her with black and white face paint on, her design was a very simple, painted on smile with black diamonds on her eyes.

Luan had watched as Maggie had knocked on the air as if she was knocking on a door

Luan had slowly stood up and opened the 'door' and Maggie had stepped up to her and used her thumb to wipe Luan tears as some of her face make up was ruined.

Maggie had pulled out a rose and tucked it in between luan ear, shocking Luan,and making her blush.

"Maggie..." Luan said quietly, looking at her.

Maggie had lean forward, pecking her lips against hers, shocking luan to the point she was sure steam was coming from her face.

"Clown are supposed to be happy, so why don't you smile for me" Maggie said quietly, intertwining her fingers with luans, watching as luan had smile happily at her.

"I-I love you Maggie" luan said to her.

"I love you too, luan loud" Maggie said as they had both kissed each other on the lips, both simply enjoying this moment together.

- ASD/Autism is because I headcanon both Luan & Maggie as being autistic - Luan because she has a lot of traits in the show that align very clearly with ASD, and Maggie bc,, I can (Will be uploading a text mini-essay exploring Luan's autistic traits at some point)

- Maggie has more afro-centric features in my design such as having curlier hair (which her mother has) & slightly darker skin, because she seems to be of black descent but doesn't carry over a lot of traits in my design, therefore, her kids would also inherit her curlier hair (Mercedes straightens hers)

- Relating to Maggie again, she is also Haitian in my headcanon - 3rd generation migrant from Haiti & her father being white - this is why both Leila & Mercedes have the haitian flag in their profiles

- I accidentally made Mercie's skin way too desaturated and I deeply apologise, I saved before I could fix it ☹️

- Mercie has a pikachu hoodie on!

Well, the topic was supposed to be "Wedding" but i wanted to do something related to that :3 Anyway this is how Luaggie Week 2019 edition ends.
